CAAKE Performance | Gail Mahon, Marketa Formanova and Jane Talbot
Saturday 16th November 5.30pm | St Augustines Old School House | £5
Dissonance of surface. When the world changes faster than people; substances, codes, milieus, and rhythms relocate to chaos.
Chaos is the entry point of this collaborative conversation; an active residency to develop new improvisational installation work. It explores progression and regression, navigated through a process of theatre dance, performance, sound, spoken word and the making of ephemeral environments. Fractals, repetitive patterns and relations between order and chaos – bound or free - the dynamics between shape and surface, audience and performance will harmonise and fade. It asks can we navigate conditions of chaos and remain intact to original aspects of ourselves.
Performed by Gail Mahon and Marketa Formanova
CAAKE have been invited by Art Arcadia to take residency at St. Augustine’s Old School House from November 2019 to January 2020. This is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
