Update on Review (Appeal) Process, 30th May 2025

Following the refusal of annual core funding a few weeks ago, Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company (EEDTC) submitted an appeal to the review process of Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI) on Tuesday 20th May 2025. This review submission has been based on concerns around processes by which ACNI took its decision. An appeal against the ACNI judgement of low artistic quality is not permitted by the review process. EEDTC has been informed that the review process will be completed by 25th June at the latest. Should the review process be successful the reviewing body will revert the original application to ACNI for reconsideration.
