CAAKE Residency in association with Art Arcadia
Dissonance of Surface | Collaboration between CAAKE artists Jane Talbot, Gail Mahon and Marketa Formanova & Body Wisdom
Tuesday 12th November 8pm | St Augustine’s Old School House
Free Entry | Donations welcome
This performance is the result of a one-day workshop and collaboration between Body Wisdom group and CAAKE (Collaborative Art and Kinetic Environments) artists; Jane Talbot, Gail Mahon and Marketa Formanova. The workshop will take the form of research and development in the making of an improvisational and experimental installation work. It will explore ways to enhance navigation of flow and connection through fragmented patterns of poetic performance that mediates both conscious and unconscious landscapes. The Body Wisdom group will develop their own unique imprint upon the process and present an evening event and open an informal feedback session.
CAAKE have been invited by Art Arcadia to take residency at St. Augustine’s Old School House from November 2019 to January 2020. This is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
