Sunday Session

The Sunday Session is a platform for local performers of any discipline to try out new material in an informal and supportive studio environment. It has been running for many years and it's aim is to be a cutting edge, uncensored open space to share new short pieces and improvisations of dance, poetry, performance, singing, voice, music, movement, action theatre, comedy, clowning, or a concoction.
It takes place on the first Sunday of every month at 7pm in Echo Echo's dance studio in The Waterside Theatre. The studio creates an intimate performance space and holds an audience of about 40 people.
Each performance should last approximately 10 minutes and the programme is usually filled with variety and talent.
The Sunday Session is open to the public for those who don't want to perform but enjoy watching improvisation, new work and raw talent. Admission is £3 but free for performers.
If anyone is interested in taking part, please contact Echo Echo at info@echoechodance.com or call 028 7130 8883.
