Echo Echo Open Weekend for Professional Dancers
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th September 2008
The weekend will take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September from 10am to 6pm each day with a private performance evening on the Saturday at 8pm.
Led by Co-Artistic Directors, Ursula Laeubli and Steve Batts, this will be an introduction to the unique creative and technical approach of the company.
Also, this will be a chance for professional dancers and dancers in training across Ireland to meet, dance, perform and get to know each other with a view to possible artistic collaboration on future projects.
This weekend is FREE!
Echo Echo can help with travel and accommodation if required.

Daring Feet starts back on Wednesday 17th September
Daring feet is back!

In Echo Echo's Dance Studio, Waterside Theatre.
Daring Feet works like a real dance company. It runs throughout the year and members can be involved in classes, productions, workshops and performances.
Daring Feet is a contemporary youth dance company that draws on many different non-competitive dance forms and styles. The emphasis is on creativity and expression. There is a lot of imporivsation and movement exploration, and each member brings his or her own taste and ideas to the work.
It is a great way to develop your performance skills, to learn from professional dancers, and to experience different ways of creating choreography.
Previous Daring Feet members have gone on to become professionals dancers or to take dance at further education. Some have also gone on to do drama/ theatre studies.

Echo Echo Company Class
Echo Echo will be running a company class every Tuesday morning starting on 16th September in the Echo Echo Dance Studio.
10am- 12pm
Costs £3 per class
Bursaries available
Echo Echo dancers, Steve, Ursula and Ayesha will lead this class each week. Although it is a public class, it is more suited to those with previous dance experience. The classes will involve technique, composition, movement development and will deepen the knowledge and skill level of participants.
