Making Moves sessions in schools underway
Making Moves: Choose a Direction
This Youth Dance Development Course run by Echo Echo in partnership with The University of Ulster, is officially underway.
The project's first stage is to offer secondary schools across Northern Ireland the opportunity to benefit from FREE dance introductory sessions. The first session began on Monday 17th November in Holy Cross College, Strabane. There will be 7 more sessions in the coming fortnight in schools in Derry, Antrim, Magherafelt, Limavady, Portstewart and Belfast.
Once these sessions are complete, Echo Echo will focus on organising the following Easter and Summer courses. These will be taught by Echo Echo tutors as well as international artists.
Anyone aged between 16 and 18 years old are eligible to participate and those who complete the summer course in August will gain accreditation from the University of Ulster's School of Creative Arts.
