Echo Echo - Legacy Trust events in Belfast on 1 Sept

12.30-1.30pm at The MAC, St Anne's Square 

Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company will perform The Feel of Play at The MAC, Belfast on Saturday 1st September 2012. The performance will take place outdoors in St Anne's Square at 12.30pm and lasts around 45 minutes. The Echo Echo ensemble are joined by talented musicians Mark O'Doherty and Gary Cunningham (Balkan Alien Sound). Free admission and suitable for all ages!

10.30am-12.30pm in The MAC, The Lab 

The company will also provide an intensive workshop for experienced or professional dancers focusing on the working methods used in The Feel of Play. The workshop will be led by Artistic Director, Steve Batts with the full company ensemble taking part.


2.30-5pm in The MAC, The Lab

In the afternoon of Saturday 1st September, an Echo Echo Dance Picnic will take place in The MAC (in The Lab). This is a cross-generational dance workshop for all ages and abilities from toddlers to grandparents. It has been a very popular event in Echo Echo's programme in recent years with as many as 50 people joing in Derry Dance Picnics. The event starts at 2.30pm and runs to 5pm with a break for cake. Some cake will be provided but do bring some along.

A range of events will take place all day and evening in The MAC celebrating the many succesful projects of the Legacy Trust UK Connections Programme over the last 3 years.
