Interactions Performance Nights
The Echo Echo Dance Ensemble present
Interactions
Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th April at 8pm
In The Waterside Theatre, Derry-Londonderry
Tickets: Free
Two evenings of short performances created by members of the talented and growing Echo Echo dance ensemble. Come and see what happens when a dancer is given collaborators, time and space to explore and experiment, with the instruction to create exactly what they want.
You will be drawn into the individual creative worlds of each member of Echo Echo and see how they meet and move together. The performances will include solos, duets and group pieces- some serious, some wacky - encouraged by Echo Echo Artistic Director Steve Batts to take risks and let their imagination fly.

Also on 27th April at 7pm before the performance, Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company will hold a launch event for the company's three-year programme Into Contact which will explore the connections between dance and sport in the lead up to the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The project received £125,000 funding from the Legacy Trust UK Connections Programme, which is managed by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
Echo Echo's Into Contact programme will use this funding to develop and deliver an outstanding programme of sport themed dance events in partnership with other organisations, emphasising the skill, beauty and magic of dance and sport.
